NHL Game of the Week Double Header Thursday @ 9:30pm & 10:30pm Est

This week's VGNHL game of the week features 4 teams 2 games as we have a double header VG! Yes you read that right, a double header and 3 games all together on this jam packed night of VGHL Hockey that we are bringing to you live with commentary as we have the Leafs VS Sabres and Oilers VS Sharks!!!!!!

Now VG we move on to the second game of the double header for game of the week! And this tilt has another two teams battling it out for top spot in the Western Conference and Pacific division and believe you me these teams have been battling it out all season and have already met twice this season with the Oilers taking both meetings in what were two close games and one needing overtime to finish as they escaped with 4-2 and 2-1 wins respectively!. The Sharks over the weeks have made changes to their roster and will field a different team than when the Oilers saw them last and will no doubt look to get some revenge back this week as they face off twice in two important matchups with 4 huge points on the line as these games could decide who takes over the West and Pacific!

I had a chance to catch up with Sharks owner Capitals and here was his thoughts on the big tilt…

“Looking forward to this matchup once again last 2 meetings were very close and defiantly gonna be another defensive game for both teams”

Oilers owner Budz had little to say and if you know Budz that is very unusual for him…

“ Looking forward to it should be a gooder!”

Looking further into the team numbers and key players both these teams play a solid two way game and it shows why they are atop the Western standing and right there with the best teams in the league!. I expect this game to come down to special teams and who can capitalize on their chances and bury the puck as both teams are sound defensively.

Big players tend to show up in big games and I don't see that changing as all 6 forwards aside from one average over 3 points per game but the one San Jose forward is not far behind.
